Sinus Lift

When the molar and premolar teeth on the upper jaw are extracted, the supporting bone begins to resorb. As the bone resorbs, it reduces the bone available to support dental implants. If dental implants are the preferred treatment option to replace missing teeth but the bone is insufficient to support the implants, a sinus lift procedure allows for the development of new bone in the floor of the sinus cavity. This new bone will provide the support necessary for implant placement.
